Director Minh Ta was born in Vietnam and immigrated to the United States at the age of seventeen.   After graduating from U.C. Davis with a degree in Biochemistry, Minh worked for eleven years in biotech before pivoting into the healthcare field.  Minh currently is a Registered Nurse and a licensed massage therapist, with a focus on Palliative/Hospice care.  He is self-taught driftwood artist by creating sculptures which had been exhibited at several local galleries in West Sonoma County.

Minh’s charitable interests focus on seniors, immigrants, and the arts.  “As an immigrant myself,” remarks Minh, “I know only too well the special struggles that accompany families trying to make a new life in a new country.”  And as an artist whose driftwood sculptures have appeared in local galleries. Minh believes in the therapeutic value of artistic endeavor to transform lives and communities.
